Events and Theatre Through-out the Year

Throughout the year we host many popular events including theatre productions in our marquee and in the gardens, Plant and Craft Fairs and Christmas Markets brimming with treats and gifts.

In addition, for our younger visitors, we have Pirate and Alice in Wonderland weekends where we decorate the restaurant (and staff).

Every day we run our very popular free garden quiz encouraging the children to explore the site and rewarding them with a prize for every completed sheet.

Once again, Ralph Court Gardens will be transformed into a unique Halloween venue with hundreds of glowing pumpkins interspersed with smoke and creatures of the night will fill the gardens creating a memorable visit.

Using a clever mix of sounds and light effects the event held over sixteen days from 15th October through to 4th November will be a ‘must see’ for the region.

Animated characters have been imported from the USA and special visual effects combine to make this a memorable and unique Halloween experience.

During the day you can meet the animated witches cooking up spells and potions, walk through the graveyard and visit the skeleton ‘flower seller’. Listen to the spooky tunes being played by our musical fountain and see all the inflatable figures standing within the gardens and don’t forget to sing along with our trio of singing pumpkins.

In the evenings the gardens are lit by hundreds of pumpkins leading you to our new animated feature from America, Jock the sleeping Giant and his good friend Bobo. If you like a fright then meet the Ralph family in their horror tunnel. The gothic rectory will have a special light show every evening with rag tag skeleton band.

New for 2023 'Meet the Dinosaurs'.

Tickets for daytime and evening are available on the Halloween page under the Events header.

The gardens will be transformed into a Christmas Winter Wonderland, with our musical fountain dancing to Christmas songs, Christmas inflatables and our special Victorian carollers will be completing this festive scene.  Come and listen to a Christmas story read by Boris the bear and hear our singing reindeer, supported by a donkey.  But remember, make sure you wear a coat as we guarantee snow flurries every day!
